FLAKES
Flakes is a flexible granular sampler specially designed to transform and twist existing samples into something new and fresh. While Flakes was mainly designed to work with voices and atmospheric samples, its wide sound sculpting possibilities produce interesting results with any sound source. This instrument is driven using built-in sequencers and hands-on control simultaneously. For example, you can scan thru the wave using your controller and play some notes on your keyboard while the scenes are controlled by a sequencer. It is very light on the CPU, so you can rock it live on a stage.

{accordion=How it works}
Four colors represent four “scenes”. Each scene has its own settings for different sampler parameters. For each parameter there is a cell. These cells have 8 sliders, 4 sliders for the first (main) parameter and 4 for the secondary parameter (usually jitter). The scene order and readout process is controlled by a special sequencer. The sequencer’s velocity can be routed to control the sampler’s volume and release time.{/accordion}
